On September 3rd, Threepio won’t be the only one rockin’ the gold! The Childhood Cancer foundation are running an amazing event in one of Dublin’s most amazing venues. The Childhood Cancers Foundation is a charity that we support fully here at Blabba The Hutt. Our regular listeners will remember Dylan from Episode 10, Dylan is a survivor and an amazing spokesperson for the cause, and friend to those affected here in Ireland.
Our Buddies in the Emerald Garrison will be trooping on the day also, so you can pop down and get a photo with your favourite Jedi, Stormtrooper, or if you are an advocate of the dark side, you might even meet the Dark Lord himself!

Childhood Cancer Foundation (“CCF”) was founded in 2013 by parents and family members of children with cancer. The group originally came together in 2013 to start the Light It Up Gold campaign in Ireland. This campaign runs during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month in September. The first campaign was so well received that a group of parents decided to set up a national paediatric cancer charity to represent children and families affected by childhood cancer in Ireland. Thus Childhood Cancer Foundation was born. Childhood Cancer Foundation was granted charitable status in June 2014. The registered Charity No: is CHY 21198
